MESSAGE TO MY SOUL
Listen O my inner man to me
Harken O my inner being to my plea
Make me up that I may stand faultless before the King
On the Last Day that I may join the saints to sing
Scold the character in me
That it may not fault me
Let it not pluck my feathers
That I may soar with holy brothers
Work not against me O my soul
That the King may see me as whole
That shame may not reach me in the Hereafter
And then my plea to you will not be any better
Remember that your spirit is for the King
And one day from you to Him it will swing
Hear O my mind and speak to my soul
That all its attitudes it may control
You O Conscience are the guide of man's attitude
Die not but awake in me to do good
The King takes record of my service
So my conscience do not be a novice
You had better awake into righteousness
That I may at the trump fly into holiness
Induce this thought in me daily
That my possessions can not save me
Degrees and qualifications are impotent
In the matters of Heavenly sacrament
So open up my insight now that it is day
Before night comes and my day passes away
Tell this to my soul O my ear as you hear
Tell it to my eyes O my mind as you hear
O my heart conceive not evil
O my conscience yield not to the devil
Speak to my legs O my eyes as you see
Hear O my legs and go not on sinful journey
Speak not O my mouth what will destroy me
Control yourselves O ye parts of my body
O you my guardian angel endorse my case
Lest my body fells me on the Heavenly race
This is my message to you O my soul
Intuit me on earth to reach my goal
And while the King leads me not into temptation
You lead me in the Hereafter not into damnation

It is very strong and agile among the cat family It hears and see things while resting on the tree It is not known for aggression but defending its territory Hence Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn is the symbol of our security Who then is he that flays the leopard? He who take security with no regard He whose people are protected by a vanguard Yet to him the security of others is of no regard He says Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn is nothing but illegal And I wonder what to say of his people who are local They go everywhere with arms and it is so legal That the whole world thinks it is abnormal Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn does not go about with any arm But the civilian vanguard threatens with arm Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn's people can not help but cry in alarm Because the armed civilian cause more death than harm Now if you call Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn illegal Is it not hypocritical? THE GLORY OF ORANGE

The orange tree brings out its fruits One of every tree's attributes The aim and pride of every plant As the earth's nature remains constant Humans see Orange's glory from afar In the green sky it shines like a star They get stones and hurl at it Moving nearer and with rod they beat it And then the glory of Orange falls In man's hands the fruits roll like balls What really a wicked world! Whose darts at one's glory are hurled And as if that is not even enough Man strips Orange's clothes off And with force squeezes it So that it's sweetness comes out of it Man enjoys Orange's sweetness And casts out its bitterness But Orange does not give up For in bitterness it again sprouts up And thus from its bitterness Comes out Orange's sweetness So the wickedness of man is to whose interest?
