Religion
What some say, what people do and what the two Books say
Some people once came to Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) and asked him,
"Who is the most honourable man in God's sight?"
"The most righteous man", he answered.
"We are not talking about that." They said.
Then Muhammad (s.a.w.) said, "The most honourable man in God's sight is Joseph, the son of God's prophet (Jacob), the son of God's prophet (Isaac), the son of God's khalil (Abraham)"
"We are not talking about that". They said again.
Then the prophet asked, "Are you talking about the Arabs (or those who practise Islam)?"
"That is exactly what we are talking about". They answered.
Then Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) explained, "The best people who ever practised Islam were the ones who served God fearfully even before Islam came into existence"26
David, Joseph, Elijah, Ishmael, Jacob, Isaac, Abraham and many men served God fearfully before Islam came into existence. Of all these men, Joseph was seen by God's messenger (s.a.w.) as the most honourable. Now how many Christian doctrines did Joseph practise? And how many Islamic routine did he obey? Go and read the story of Joseph in the Qur'an and in the Bible; then come back and answer me. Being righteous is the only way to be honourable before God and you cannot be righteous if you do not fear God. Know also that you cannot fear God if you follow doctrines and routines not from your heart. Joseph feared God from the heart. So did Jesus and so did Abraham.

Out of envy you do not wish me good; and you go to God to ask that goodness and mercy should follow you. Let it be in your mind that there is a condition to God's goodness and mercy-- you should be good to your fellow humans14
You are full of pride and arrogance. You have no honour for people around you. You fast and pray that it may be well with you. God respects His word. It will not be well with you if you are not humble15. If you are humble, you will be exalted. If you are proud, you will be brought down. It is better to be asked to take a higher position than to be told to give your place to someone more important#. Think about it.
Why do you not help your fellow human who does wrong things to do right things? Must you gossip to people about him who does wrong things? That which you think is wrong may even be right and you know not. In that case your mouth will lead you into trouble and you will then call on God to save you. Why did He not save those who gossiped about Daniel? He saved Daniel instead16
You cannot tell the public what you do for a living. You give the little you have to rich people in order to win their favour. You cheat others in order to rob them of their favour. It will not still last with you. The favour will not tarry with you because you get it through dishonesty. You are even proud of your dishonesty. You wake up each day and say, "God bless my hustle." You will continue to hustle because God will not bless it. Both God and people will be pleased with you if you do things with loyalty and faithfulness17

When man goes to any ritual herbalist to invoke evil on another man, it is usually very easy and extremely cheap. But to invoke good fortunes upon oneself is difficult, costly and rare. Many people have been greatly won for Satan. Satan promised very few people for God. No wonder Jesus said, "The road that leads to destruction is very wide and many people ply the road. The road that leads to life is very narrow and few people go through it"8 The few people Satan promised God are the ones who walk in the way of life, and Satan still wants more. He hunts more preys among the few.
Satan promised God to make evil appear beautiful to man. Who does not want beautiful things? Therefore many people walk in the way that leads to destruction because the way was made to appear beautiful to man initially9. Satan is really at work. Many people work for Satan but they do not know. They do not know because what they do appear good and right to them; and they will never know until they are doomed or until they are saved by God. But only those who are willing or who choose to be saved will be saved.
An excerpt from my book, "Man and Angels"
When I say God is One, I mean He does not have any colleague. Yes in the Bible, God says "Let Us make man"24; God says "Man has become like Us"25; God says "Let Us go down to man"26. And in the Qur'an God uses plural pronouns such as WE, OUR, US instead of singular pronouns such as I, MY, ME. One may assume God was referring to the angels by using plural pronouns but the Qur'an disagrees to such assumption as God says in the Qur'an, "WE said to the angels, 'Submit to Adam'....."27. Therefore by using plural pronouns, God could not possibly be referring to the angels but Beings higher than the angels and equal to God. But far from it; no one is ever equal to God!
God is self-existing. He created His Word and Spirit from Himself ever before He created any other thing. His Word and Spirit proceeded from Him and hence are One with Him. That was why in the beginning GOD was in Heaven, His SPIRIT was moving over the deep, and through His WORD, He created all things28. God is One with His Word and Spirit.
