OH! BUT WHY?

Who in this life can I put my trust in?
I told my best friend to help scratch my back
And what he had in his hand was a pin
So what other can I do than pack?
Oh! But why?
Who on earth can really be trusted?
I told my other friend to blow fresh air in my eyes
And what came out of his mouth was unexpected
It was the breeze of peppery rice
Oh! But why?
I told my other friend to blow fresh air in my eyes
And what came out of his mouth was unexpected
It was the breeze of peppery rice
Oh! But why?
Can you really hang your hope on anyone?
I told my closest friend the secret of my life
And then I discovered the real habit he had won
He was the broadcaster of every strife
Oh! But why?
I told my closest friend the secret of my life
And then I discovered the real habit he had won
He was the broadcaster of every strife
Oh! But why?
Now I see my heart closer to me than any friend
And in my heart is Someone who never fails
He knows all from the beginning to the end
Yet I chose to trust in friends' tales
Oh! But why?
And in my heart is Someone who never fails
He knows all from the beginning to the end
Yet I chose to trust in friends' tales
Oh! But why?
Shouldn't I had put my trust in the Almighty?
The One who readily cares for my problem?
Now I trust in His awe full of divine beauty
And His glory now becomes my emblem
Don't ask why!
The One who readily cares for my problem?
Now I trust in His awe full of divine beauty
And His glory now becomes my emblem
Don't ask why!
