THE IGNORANT AND HIS FRIENDS

I ask, "Who is your friend?"
He says, "The list has no end
We eat and drink together
Always in the sweetest weather
They do not go to any event without me
They show people my identity
All our moments are full of fun
And all my enemies just have to run"
So I ask, "Do you have an enemy?"
He says, "They really hate me
They speak to me many opposing words
Those words are just like piercing swords
They discourage me to have fun
And sometimes I wish I had a gun"
Now his identity is brought down
And his friends have fled out of town
Now he sees those he calls his enemies
And they help him up with their own means
The ignorant never knows who his friends is
Until he finds himself in a lot of crisis
He says, "The list has no end
We eat and drink together
Always in the sweetest weather
They do not go to any event without me
They show people my identity
All our moments are full of fun
And all my enemies just have to run"
So I ask, "Do you have an enemy?"
He says, "They really hate me
They speak to me many opposing words
Those words are just like piercing swords
They discourage me to have fun
And sometimes I wish I had a gun"
Now his identity is brought down
And his friends have fled out of town
Now he sees those he calls his enemies
And they help him up with their own means
The ignorant never knows who his friends is
Until he finds himself in a lot of crisis
